Yup, same email I got this morning.  Unforunately they already hit my credit card.  I emailed back to tell them to remove the charge and I got an auto-response from them saying that they were closed from 12-30-06 to 01-03-07....but if my calendar is right it's the 4th!  Probably just a mess up, I'll get them off my card one way or another.  Now we just have to find ourselves another good scope deal....wonder who else sells this scope, wonder if it's near the same price?

This has happened to me also but within a week or so they will have them back in stock.

It's not the first time they have been out of stock, so I am not worried and if they charged your card the scopes have been shipped.

For the price I am in no hurry,  the last time they were out of stock when I ordered a couple it was less than a week later they emailled and said they were shipped.

Hey, guys, Cheaper than Dirt and Natchez both list this scope at about $35.  I know it's more, but if you just GOTTA have it now...:-)! HTH.

Yep same thing here. A couple of months back got that same email so I waited an kept checking back on there web site, I couldn't wait any longer so ordered a different scope an different site. Bam 2 scopes show up at my door a week later a tasco and the other one.

I might have missed it, but the one I saw on Cheaper Than Dirt wasn't the AO air rifle version.  Again, I may have missed it, but I know that Optics Giant lists two versions also, the AO with rings and the non-AO without rings.  Haven't lookied at Natchez yet.....but the Cheaper Than Dirt retail store is about 2 miles from me, so I'd have to go walk in there first:)  Thanks for the info though, I'm guessing these things will turn up again sooner or later.  This is actually the 4th one I've ordered and the third one I've had cancelled, I've just never gotten an email saying,"We don't plan on getting this for awhile", I usually get,"We don't have it right now, but we will pretty soon", and my credit card is never charged until the product ships, but this time it has been charged...it's very odd, but then most of these internet store fronts are nothing more than a guy with a computer who has his stuff drop shipped from the manufacturers...might never get him on the phone...hehe...it's $28, it'll fix itself or I'll learn to never shop there again.
