Another .177 Preadator Thread
« on: March 07, 2009, 01:38:02 PM »
I have just recently tested these pellets out of my Crossman G1 Extreme.  And I did some accuracy tests then hunting  out in the woods.  These pellets are GOOD!  The velocity seems very good more than the crossman Hollow points.  or at least it has a straighter trajectory for  alonger distance.  as far as take down power.. HAHA  drilled a Dove from 50 yds and it left a Hole in its neck/ practically took its neck off.  these pellets are very impressive.  too bad they are so expensive.  Only other down side to these pellets are the weak skirts.  I found quite a few of them with bent skirts.

Here is a 10 shot target at 60 Feet I used Crossman Premier Hollow Points and Preadators.

Preadator first group

Preadator Second group

Crossman Premier Hollow Point First group

Crossman Premeir Hollow Point Second group

The second Groups were much better in both but I was really impressed with the preadators.

Josh, I have been meaning to post to you for a while. What part of Middletown, DE! I graduated from MHS in 1981! Just wanted to make contact with you and I have about every Round nose pellet and some wadcutters to (No JSBs), if you want to shoot or test sometime. I have a little range in Blackbird, have chrony and some airgun hunting landtoo!

PS: Great shooting with the Preadators and CPHP. You are the one who purchased all the CPHP from the Middletown Wal-Mart?:)
