I'm a little closer
« on: March 16, 2009, 03:39:53 PM »
I've got Butler Creek caps on all of my air guns now.
I'll be getting a Plano soft case tomorrow from Pyramyd via the Brown Santa.
I'm also stocking up on pellets while there are all these sales going on.  I'm filling up a surplus ammo can.

I'm still looking for a case for the QB57 though, any ideas?

If you are looking for a hard case what are the dimensions you need???? I had to buy a new hand drill the other day and as it will never go back into the case I now have a nice case that will take at least two pistols........maybe a trip down to the hardware store to find that new tool you need will also supply a case.....

USNCop,

what is wrong with the case that the QB-57 came in?
I took out the foam, put in a new foam with the current dimention cut outs.
Then i cut off the latches that it came with, and screwed on buckles and straps that go all around, and hook to the buckels..and now, I have a reliable, and pretty neat case for it.
Message me your email and I can send you pictures.

The hard case my QB57 came with has a crappy latch so I'm looking for a soft case to keep it in.
Also, I don't want to have to assemble/disassemble it every time I want to shoot it.

10-4

My brother has a soft case that is made for smaller AR15s.  Its a tactical case..and he uses it for his crossman, and it works just fine.
Look into the shorter tactical cases (hard or soft).
