Question, it seems everyone can answer, but me!

Every forum, and every article written about air rifle maintenance mentions Goo - Gone.  Quote:  Just run a patch with goo - gone down the barrel followed by a few dry patches and your done.

What the heck is goo - gone??  I have even seen it written, you can get it anywhere.  I have never seen it with gun cleaning supplies.

Help me with my ignorance.  I fell off a turnip truck last night.

Don't let it get you down, Perry, you won't find it in the gun cleaning supplies :-).  Try household cleaners or even painting supplies, it's more of a general purpose cleaner like Simple Green.  Better?

Ever try to get left over sticky stuff off after you remove some masking tape, Goo Gone removes it just slick. It cleans up most everything with out removing the paint or melting plastic.

 Most hardware stores have it places like lowes or Home depot.

Ah Ha!  That's why I have not  seen Goo - Gone.

It's with the house keeping and cleaning supplies.  I stay the heck out of that part of the store!  Sounds too much like work.

It's dat yellow stuff   , good for removing stickers,tape etc. Black lable with white lettering, goo-gone if i remember right. got a bottle in the shop,good stuff. Ed
