QB57 spring question
« on: March 24, 2009, 06:21:58 AM »
Do any of you folks know if the QB57 uses the same spring for both calibers?
I'm thinking of getting a .22 barrel from Archer Airguns.
Thanks.

They do.....

I have one in each caliber.....

The spring that comes in the QF-2 kit will give you a bit more "zing"  :)

My .22 QB-57 absolutely loves those cheap Daisy wadcutters that Walmart sells for like $2 bucks a tin....  they work darn good on starlings and tree rats in the backyard too  :)

Thanks Jeff!
I'm going to hold off on internal mods for now.  Perhaps MM might do it for me in the future?
For now I'd like to switch it to .22 for back yard pest control and general plinking.
I just didn't want to purchase the .22 barrel if they used a bigger spring.
Aren't those Daisy flats actually Gamo?

Thanks Jeff,
That's good news, I just bought 6 tins of them.
The QB57 barrel assembly is next.

I've noticed the cheap daisy pellets bought recently are vastly improved over what i bought a couple years ago.  Been using them in some guns that didn't produce with them before and now produce much better groups.
