JQR,

Is your Talon SS zeroed at 10M or are you holding over.

My Talon SS is zeroed at 30 yards and to shot at 11yards is like 4 dots hold over with a 6-24x56 Nikko Sterling scope on high mounts.

CaptGeorge,

I'm doing the best that I can ! With my health as it is, I'm sure if you practice, you will soon beat the heck out of me, but Tommy is the one you should watch out for, he has his health ! And potential ! As do YOU !

If you look at my scores, they have stayed about the same ! Just look at how much yours has improved !

Don't try beating any competitor, just shooting a perfect score !

I wish all here success !

Hope you kick my butt next match, sir.  It's  a friendly competition, except for the only guy I am really competing with -- me.  I just wish I could break 190.  I always seem to drop a shot or two.  188 seems to be my norm.

Much thanks for the kind words guys.  Pawpawdan mentioned he used .22 CPCH pellets.....anyone know what those are?  Crosman Premier ? ?......maybe he mis-typed?

Bill & Tommy,

I'm just kidding, Guys! LOL I learned long ago the only guy I had to BEAT at the shooting range or golf course was ME!!!!!  I, too, wish everybody here well and success.

I'm new here, but I'm REALLY enjoying the forum and the NICE group of guys and girls here.  My wife thinks I'm CRAZY....AGAIN. LOL  I've been a SHOOTING nut, SKEET nut, BOW HUNTER nut, OFFSHORE FISHING nut, HUNTING nut, GOLF nut, etc. over most of my 61 years.  Come to think of it, maybe she's right....AGAIN.

This is begining to be more fun than a chore. I'm starting to get the hang of shooting the 512, learning what stance works and how to hold it just right. I polished up the trigger a bit last weekend and I'm looking forward to trying it out this week. A few quick shots indoors at 5m showed promise.

Tommy, You should always shoot for a perfect score ! If you fall short you may be surprised with a 199 !

CaptGeorge, Whatever makes you try harder ! That's what you should do !!! If it's personal competition that makes your blood burn, use it !

I just kick myself in the butt, especially when I hold way to long, and still take the shot, and miss ! I know better, so what can I say ! I fight the targets, and try my best :)

GREAT LUCK and SKILL to ALL Our MEMBERS !!!!
