With a change of pellet things started working! Last week I used the Gamo match, this week the Gamo pro magnum, and what a difference!
The Crosman Disco .22 was doing it's thing fine!

Details:- Crosman Disco .22, Leapers 3-9x32 at x9, 30yards, Gamo ProMagnums, Prone

Got out the other afternoon as the rain seemed to be holding off for a while ... intermittent hazy sun through the overcast and a light fluky breeze blowing, that increased as the "match" wore on - lol !     Wind strength varied through a range of 4 ~ 8 mph and was swinging from about 3 to 5 O'clock.   For this shoot I used my newer Air Arms S.400ERB runing at full power, approx. 20fpe, with Crosman Magnum, (the old CPH ??),pellets.   The scope was an old Centerpoint 4-16x40 mil-dot.

I shot from my 50 yard bench with forearm on a sandbag, shoulder-rested, left hand under butt ... found it difficult without previous practice in this position, to maintain what I'd consider a uniform hold and contact pressure ... will experiment more later.

I think this is actually 32 yards, not quite 30 meters.  Air Arms 401 ERB /.22, half power, Hawke Exlipse, 16X, front rest JSB Exact Jumbo Heavy 18.1 grain pellets.  Wind's light, variable.  Score 140.

I tried today but the wife flat out shut me down. No outdoor target for me which means 20yrds is my limit for a while longer. I'll be able to get 30+ in good weather when I can get to some family property, but it's 30min away and I got shut down too late to get there and set up with any daylight left.
