First, the breach didn't want to close after cocking and loading. As the cocking lever comes forward, the "foot" that actually engages the piston hit the HEAD of the piston, not letting the breach close all the way.
I decide to fix it by trimming the back of the foot by about .030" - that seemed to work. Now I've just got the poor velocity to deal with (800 with CPL's). I'm gonna order a new spring and seal from Crosman to install when I do the debur and proper lube.
At least the accuracy seems usable, and the gun DOES feel good in my hands. The metalwork machining looks pretty good, but the surface finish is no better (and possibly worse) than a B-2 or a B-3.
Reman problems, or Legacy problems? I don't know. I suspect that once I'm done with it it'll be a decent rifle...
