Well said Andy.
We both know that God is not political at all.
I had no real intention to bring such pitiful human classifications to such a
Great and Might God that we serve. I knew I would get this type of response and it
does my heart well to see it. In a world where godlessness seems to completely abound,
I am reminded of Elijah who once thought he was the only one left.
The Lord let him know that he was not alone, as he felt,
but that there were 7000 who had not bowed knee to Baal.
Salvation is the greatest free gift that we can ever receive but is also the most costly gift you will ever receive.
To make him Lord, you must surrender your all to Him. It could cost you every friend and family member turning on you,
but gladly will I ever bear the reproach.
One last thought, we know that we are unworthy to say the least to ask for God's grace,
but I am reminded of the Old Testaments sacrificial lamb. When the worshiper came
to the temple to offer his sacrifice lamb and worship Jehovah, the priest never one time
looked the worshiper over. He knew that the man was a sinner or he would not be
bringing the lamb. What the priest was interested in was that lamb.
It had to be with out spot or blemish. I am so thankful today that when I go
to the Father, He knows what kind of a man I am. He isn't looking at me.
He is inspecting my sacrifice. What confidence it gives me to know, He is looking
at the Spotless Lamb Of God.
He is coming for a Bride one day without spot wrinkle or blemish.
We know we can not obtain sinless perfection, never making any mistakes,
however when He looks at our sacrifice, we are declared perfect.
The only way for there to be a Bride without spot wrinkle or blemish is that she
must be one with her sacrifice.
The scripture declares
II CORINTHIANS 5:21
(21) For he hath made him [to be] sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be
made the righteousness of God in him. Did you get that? It says that
WE ARE THE VERY RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD HIMSELF by being IN CHRIST.
It says that He (Jesus) became SIN for us. It does not say He became sinful,
but became SIN for us that by our union with Him we might become the RIGHTEOUSNESS
of God. If we accept the fact (and we must) that He literally became SIN for us by
His substitution for us, then we must also accept the fact that we by our union with Him
have become the VERY RIGHTEOUSNESS of God. To reject one is to reject the other.
To accept the one is to accept the other.
Well so much for not getting on a rant.

Let me put away my soap box,
Its hard to keep my mouth shut at times.
Tanks for the inspiration guys.
