Sorry, no pictures this week.  Managed a 146 with the AA S410 XTRA FAC / .22 @ 30 yards, JSB Exact Jumbo Heavy 18.1 grains shooting off a front tripod rest (while at the NTAGM shootout).

Not happy with my first 'within the rules' shot because I know the RIFLE can do better... which means the rest of the problem is me.
I didn't take much time sighting in after moving from 10m to 30y and I was paying way too much attention to background noise listening for neighbors.

Shot this prone with a front rest (bag). Tried with the bipod while sighting in but with the way I have it installed it's too tall from a prone postion when the target is also at ground level.
Going to shoot one off my table if I get a chance tonight, just to compare.

Just got back from Texas and the NTAGM shootout.  Great time. I brought the target I shot with me.  I must say that while there was great enthusiasm for shooting, there didn't seem to be much for shooting paper matches.  In fact, with the number of folks there shooting, it was difficult to get everyone there to stop long enough to change out paper targets.  And in this case, one of the other enthusiastic shooters added 3 shots to the first 3 targets while I was shooting the last few bulls.  I noticed when I saw the flyer on the third bull appear (LOL).  It was probably Johnny Quest messing with me.  Anyway, I didn't hang a fresh target and start again, sorry.

Near the end of the day Saturday, I did take a 10 meter pistol target and walk it down range to 100 yards.  There was a 100 yard cow bell that more than a few shooters were ringing, and I had the AA 410 ranged for 100 yards (about a 2-ft hold over) at 3/4th power.  The target on the right is my 10-meter off hand (one-handed) pistol match from this week.  The target on the left is a 10 shot group with the AA 410 at 100 yards.  Hubba Hubba!  I think if I had zeroed the scope for 100 yards, I might be able to shoot with almost "minute of angle" accuracy with the Air Arms 410.  This shoot was the first time I have ever "aired out" the rifle at 100 yards, and it definitely performed beyond my expectations.

Hopefully, we will have more pictures soon when folks get back home and have time to upload their shots.  It was a great time!!!

By the way . . .  Here is a great big "THANK YOU" for everyone in Texas who made the shootout an outstanding success, and for those who brought the extra tanks that allowed me and others to travel to the shoot with our PCP's and thoroughly enjoy ourselves.
