Just got a max-tuned 850 from Silo
« on: April 13, 2009, 06:33:17 AM »
Roald is simply fantastic and so are his creations.  I bought the HPA max tune, synthetic stock, with all the trimmings,,,,"complete rifle" I think he calls it.
Haven't zero'd it in yet.  But I just for the fun of it wanted to see where it was at 44 yds right out of the box.  Roald sighted it at 20 yds.  I shot JSB jumbos 15.9 gr (.22).  It was a windy day and I'd never shot that far, have only a cheap home made sand bag - I could probably do better with a longer sand bag.   So,,its an 8 shot magazine, 4 of them are one-holers (well, thats what I'm calling it) the others are,,,well,, you'll see.  So far I am very very happy with it.

Congrats on the new shooter..... By looking at the target it appears as though the gun wants to shoot  :)
