Trigger for Ruger Airhawk?
« on: April 19, 2009, 04:12:50 AM »
I see that the trigger pull on the Ruger Airhawk is suppose to be pretty good, but if it isn't as good as I would like it to be.....  can you buy a GRTIII for it?

I am now considering this air gun for purchase.  Big 5 has them on sale for $119.00

Nope, won't work in that gun.....

If the trigger on the Air Hawk is a good copy of the 34 trigger then I think you'll be very happy with it.  I have 3 Diana rifles, a 34, a 48 and a 350, good triggers in all of them...

Thanks for the info.

Do you know if the Airhawk can be tuned and or customized?  Can you you get parts for it?

Is it made by Ruger in the USA?

I'm led to believe that replacement parts such as springs, seals etc can be readily ordered since you can use the parts that fit the RWS 34 :) Jeff

I've got Gene's tuned Air Hawk which has the JM spring, steel washers, Tesla seal and custom delrin guide, so I would say, yes, it can definitely be tuned! And the trigger can be adjusted pretty well, too. It's same as in the Diana 34, the T05.  Here's how he did it:

Thanks for all the good info.  I'm going down to Big 5 Sporting goods tomarrow and buy this gun.  You guys sold me on the Ruger Airhawk.  Now I can hardly wait.

I don't think Sportsmans Giude will ship to a Califorina address.  Thanks again!
