You're gonna love that pistol.....

I have one, camo'd it, installed the shoulder stock and mounted a scope on it...... it's a killer and deadly accurate with the predator pellets she's sighted in for.....

Yea  I have an old BB/pelet gun that is a pumper like the pistol.  How many times are you supposed to pump it?  And  I am going to have some fun with it I am sure.  I have caught the air gun bug! lol  But I don't have a pistol so I figured this would be a good gun to start with.  I might have to take it hunting at my moms house for "ATTIC Squirrels" LOL    I was thinking about getting some lighter pellets.  Like 6 or 7 grain pellets for the pistol.  we'll see when I get it how well it shoots the CPHP's, Preds, gamo hunters, and deystroyers.

Mine shoots the infamous GAMO PBA pellets really well,,,, it also helps boost the FPS also, however I have it sighted in for predators...

I have another question do you use the Crossman pellgun oil on your Pnumatic like it says in the owners manul?  I know it also says to add it to my G1 in my other owners manual but I've heard not to do that!

Just got the gun in today!  first impressions.  I shot about 25 rounds through it.  I need to get different sights because the stock ones stink I dunno whether I should get a scope or a red dot???  dunno kind of don't want a scope just a good open sight setup.  Secondly.  I need to design and make some real wood handes and front grip because that plastic is killing me!  the front grip is too small and when you pump it your hand sorta gets caught in between the grip and gun.  Neat little gun though not nearly as accurate or as powerful as my g1 but in time maybe close.  I am wondering if I should buy some pellets in the 5-7 grain range?  like some lead free ones to get more fps out of the gun.

Oh also there is only one mark on the gun just a little paint chip, other than that Nothing else major.  works good wonder what the FPS are.  They don't seem to be 600fps but maybe thats because I'm used to the G1 at about 900 fps

The real lite pellets won't hurt your new shooter like they do in springers...   Try the Beeman Silverbears....  very light but they shoot really well in my 1377 and they give you an FPS boost.   Like I said earlier,,, the PBA ammon shoots good in mine as well, but they are a little pricey.  The Silver Bears are pretty  cheap.

As for the pellgun oil..... you just got it, you shouldn't need to drop any oil in there yet.  Every great once in a while I will add a drop,,,, I guess it helps.... doesn't seem to hurt mine....

Thanx for the tip.  yea I'm going to buy some lighter pellets.  But the silver bears are still expensive compared to the CPHP at Wal mart for 6.50 for 500.  cant beat that

Ordered one of the refurbed ones yesterday.. retail here at Dicks, is $ 64 plus tax..  $48 and change delivered  :)

So,  aside from a better pump handle, what's my next move for it??

There must be "got to have" gear for it..

Check the Crosman Gate... first thing (after pumper handle)is trigger mod to lighten it up and smooth it out, very easy and quick.

Wouldn't you be happier with asteel breech and dovetails? Machined bolt handle? Longer barrel, maybe a shroud? And of course a valve mod to squeak more fps (this can be an endless quest). Then you'll want custom grips to trick it out. And don't forget a shoulder stock... there is the Crosman 1399 but it will spoil the looks of your custom grips so you'll need a matching stock. And of course you'll need a scope, laser, and tac light.

The low purchase price of a 1377 is really just a down payment, once you get started...
