i got on the design board (something i haven't done in long time..ha!) and drew up some schematics of a "dampa" type scope mount. the design is a little different than the euro type and i am in negotiations with a machine shop in south carolina right now for manufacturing these. there are some tooling cost involved before the proto-types can be ran. i plan to take the proto-types and mount them on magnum guns such as the rws-350, rws-460, rws-54, theoben eliminator, and walther falcon hunter with a cheap "non-rated" scope to see how long it takes to destroy the scope. should this work the way i hope it will.......i will invest the money to go into full production on these scope mounts. they won't be cheap ( $19.95 ?) but they will be less than the original "dampa" mounts, MADE IN THE U.S.A, and readily available for U.S. airgunners. i am trying to limit production cost so i can keep the price as low as possible so WISH ME LUCK on this new adventure. the first proto-type will be available in about 4 weeks. i hope this is something that you all will be interested in.
