Thats built in by design, youd have to take it apart and remove some arm that somebody better than me can tell you about, search down a little farther and you can see where they answered it for me. Its titled something like 'sorry for hijacking this thread but...' oh never mind heres a link

best way  to decock it is to load a pellet and shoot it at a trap:)

You can remove the anti-beartrap mechanism pretty easily, just one circlip and a little sheet metal arm I assume if it's like my other Gamo's, but I wouldn't suggest it unless you NEVER EVER forget to hold onto the barrel.  Would hate to see anyone lose any teeth, smash a finger, or worse yet damage their gun.  Pretty obvious what to remove if you are mechanically inclined, but again I do not suggest it and I have not done it to any of mine for the same reasons as above.  Take care and be safe!

I bought a package of those cleaning pellets.  Kind of expensive $7.00 for a 100.  Package say approximately 100 so I guess it could be more or less.

Instructions say use 3 pellets in a springer so that's what I have been doing.  I basically just use them to fire the gun without dry firing.  I've used the same 3 pellets over and over again.

Gamo book says you can dry fire the gun.  I don't feel comfortable with that, and I don't feel comfortable altering the safety mechanisms of the gun.

This seems to be working for me so far.

Hope this helps,

Perry
