How about a bushing adapter to use 18 mm inserts in a 20 mm tube . Marvin

Do you think you could make a bushing that I could use the anschutz inserts in . Basically it would have a OD of 20 mm and a ID of 18 mm that would center the insert in the globe sight . I could draw up a set of plans . I would need a thin spacer for the front of it so the jam nut would apply pressure to the insert . A complete set of 10 inserts is $20.00 . Marvin

This is a picture of the set I have and I need the front setting this high . I received the first set that A.F. sent out and quickly found out that there is a problem . After 3 calls to them they finally saw that I was right and that their sight would not except the Anschute inserts . They are suppose to be coming up with a fix . By the way this is the same sight that the edge has . Nick that did the article on my first thread e- mailed me to day and said he made two inserts for me with 1.5 mm holes so that I can enlarge if I have to . I also ordered a anschute insert to see if I can not come up with a fix for my own use with their inserts . 2 mm is not that much and may be a simple o - ring on the out side of the 18 mm will shim it true in the globe . If not I will have both inserts on hand and may be I can get some one local to make a bushing that will work . Thank you for your help and I will post the results as they come about  . By the way this set up is on my condor and it gives a good check weld and excellent accuracy as well .Marvin

Thank you . I should have a anschutz insert Thursday that will help me see if a shim will work . I have called a couple local plastic stores as well and there may be a way with them as well . Marvin
