Thinking of getting a prosport..scope help

Hey everyone,
I'm thinking of getting an airarms prosport just to see if they're all what they're cracked up to be.  Does anyone here have one?  And if so, what scope do you have on it?  Any recommendations for a scope under $200?  I'm thinking of one of the simmons new prohunters in 6x20 with the side focus and mil-dot or one of the leftover 44 mags from Natchez.  Anyone have an idea how heavy and long the 44 mag (6x24) is?
