Are we allowed to use a 1377 pumper for a CO2 pistol match?

Go right ahead.....  When this event was first started by some CO2 pistol owners....only a few participated.....so I asked if I could join and the answer was "yes"....and I've been here since.

OK, shot the match again with the Gamo Rifle Targets -- and shot a lousy 131.  I don't know what the psychologic or physiologic reason is, but I can't shoot the rifle targets nearly as well as the standard 10 meter pistol targets, even though the bull and ring sizes are apparently the same.  Something about optically centering on a large solid black bull with a pistol that just works better.  You guys should consider using the 10 meter pistol targets for your matches.

Score:  131, same as above.

That's true TCups.....I find shooting at the multiple target sheet is more distracting too.....but we can shoot 20 shots (4 per target or 5 per target) total.  With the big black bull target....10 shots is enough....20 shots would be too hard to score...there might just be a big hole for the excellent shooters.

And yes I think it's a psychological thing....I can get closer to the "bull" in the Open Rifle 10M match with the Gamo5 target sheet.....but when I shoot the Steriod 15 10M match....much smaller bulls....and lots of them all over the sheet....my rifle is swaying all over the place.

This weeks match I'll post the question to see if the regular CO2 Pistol shooters want to use the big bull target sheet (Official 10 Meter Pistol target/Olympic 10 Meter Air Pistol Target sheet)....with only 10 shots.

I see the topic of changing targets is coming up again. I'll shoot whatever BUT, I'm a big fan of shooting a variety of targets unless you are training for competition. I'd like to think I'm practicing to point the pistol at whatever I want and be able to aim (whether I hit it or not) , rather than fail because it didn't fit my practiced target profile. I know we are using several targets multiple times but at least it's pistol vs rifle or different distances now. But like I said, I'll shoot whatever. Just here to have fun.

No, that's OK -- and there is a certain logic to what you say about using different targets.  Just frustrating not to be able to shoot as well at the white-in-black style bull.

The Gamo5 target is fine with me......forces me to concentrate more which is a good thing.  So I'll not post a question if we should change targets or not.  And I like the 20 shots in this match.  So far all the other pistol matches are 10 or 15 shots......
