Yes the GRT-III trigger is very much worth buying. It will make your shooting experience with Gamo and many other springers more enjoyable. Easy 2lb pull..after installation.

I just installed a GRT III trigger this morning. I purchased it in January and never had the time or trigger in the same place etc.  Whoa - what a difference. Just pull 2 C clips and reinstall trigger and  pin. Minimal adjustment . Overall it took 5 to 10 minutes. This was installed on a Crosman Storm XT. Before, I ran out of breath before the gun fired. After the trigger install, the first shot went off before I was ready, thinking I had a long pull. Talk about smooth and easy - I will almost never think about the trigger again when shooting. I feel silly that I waited this long.

At the price of the gold trigger you won't regret it. One word of precaution though, changing from a hard to a light trigger pull will test your safety knowledge about shooting so never ever put your index finger on the gold trigger unless the gun is pointed on a safe target and you know that that is where you intend to place the pellet. I assume you already know the proper drill before you pull the trigger. The very light trigger pull of the GRT-III is a big plus on your accuracy, just be prepared always to aim it safely to the intended target before you pull it.

I have put the GRT III trigger in four rifles and can say without reservation that it is the best $32.00 you'll ever spend on an after market item. The quality of the trigger in materials and performance is excellent. The trigger is very easy to install, regardless of one's mechanical abilities and Bob will E-mail you very comprehensive installation instructions. The service that Bob provides is first class.

The gold trigger kept me from labeling two Gamo CFXs I bought, as absolute junk.  'nuff said.

I have read somewhere(guess where?) that the second stage is non existant??? I have never tried the trigger but I am curious as to how the feel of the second stage is ont the GRT3. Is the second stage letoff predictable and/or adjustable?

Jason,  To me its better than A1 sauce, its that good! :) I have 2 guns with GRT-III triggers. In fact now you got me thinking.. I may just order another GRT-III trigger so I can get another airgun for it:) Tony

Hi...If you fail to achieve a true secondary when adjusting the trigger, it may be the screws are simply not far enough in to achieve the desired results.  You will probably need to adjust the primary and secondary a little further then what the instructions call for, but that's really no big deal.  Just take your time and you'll find a true second stage and hold position between both stages.  If you're still unsure, go to the CDT website and e-mail CDT himself.  He'll be more then glad to get back with you and give you all the help you'll need.  He's an incredible man...someone whom we from the North call a true "Southern Gengtleman."

Just got my GRT-III trigger, it installed just like the instructions. It took more time to round up the tools to install the trigger than it did ti install it. Can't wait to try it out!

ABSOLUTELY - YES!  I have three GRT-III triggers installed: Gamo Hunter220, Daisy 130A, and Quest 800.  And, I installed one in a friend's Quest 1000 last week. He was AMAZED how much better both HE and the Quest could shoot!
