This is a great place and te guys/gals here will never
lead you wrong.
You are going to love the GRT trigger.
Like Big bill said, you should try it out a couple times with
the stock trigger so you will know what you have in your hands.

Thanks for the welcome!  I can already tell that this site is full of great and knowledgeable people! I am so new to all this as I have not had an air rifle since I was in 2nd grade.  :-)  I will be picking everyone's brain for a while.

The I bought the scope and mount from Pyramyd, they had a nice one peice mount, after I "pulled the trigger" on the purchase I found the same scope on that other site for about $10 less, so here is the mount that I bought to go with it, I also bought a scope cover and removed the flip-up covers.

Hey Dennis, This comming Sunday at the Operators Union hall in Lakemoor (on rt 120 - a couple of miles W of rt 12/59) they are having a gun show.  From 8 til around 1 or 2ish.  Just talked to a guy from a gunstore in Lakemoor about selling my 2 black powder pistols and he told me about it.  He's picking up some Gamo stuff today for it.  He didn't say anything about prices though.

Hope this doesn't violate a rule - my appologies if it does.  Just thought youd like to know.
Scott

Hey, thanks for the info.  I don't think I will be able to make it because I am on in-law duty again this weekend. Once I get my gun, in-law duty will be MY PLEASURE as I can shoot at my in-laws.   I think I know what I want to get as far as a new scope but I will wait until fathers day so my wife can get me something other than a basspro gift card.

Thanks,
Dennis

Dennis, I went to that show.  In my opinion, I'm glad I showed up late and didn't pay to get in.  Not one airgun item.  I went to the shop that told me about this and they had two Gamo rifles, both in .177 and 6 tins of ammo.  Not impressed.  Maybe he had stuff still packed.  Either way, to be fair, I did show up at 12:30 and almost 50% of the dealers were packed and gone.  Kinda sucks gettin off work at 5:30 AM (and starting at 3:20PM the afternoon before) Figures I'd pull a 13.8 hr day when I want to do something.  Oh well, Hope you're havin fun on "inlaw duty"

Too bad there wasn't more at the show...  In-law duty has been ok although it is about to get better.  My father-in-law is in the process of putting the garden in and they just planted some peach, plum, cherry, and apple trees last year.  Talking about squirrel bait...  The mother in-law has already given me the green lite to take care of any unwanted intruders and they have TONS of pesky Grackles causing a ruckus.  I also found a .22 rimfire bullet box for my target shooting at Cabelas and I had a $25 gift card so it only cost me $30.  Should get the rifle by Tuesday.
