Been a spectator for a while on these forums and thought I'd add my 2cents.
Bought a B3-3 from mountain gear along with the cleaning/parts kit and am quite happy with it. Bought it with the intent of trying out my hand at some of the mods and tunes I have seen here and so I pretty much had the thing apart before I had more than a dozen pellets through it. The plans for a spring compressor in the library and all the info over at kermit airgun clubs website were really helpful as well. (they have two great walkthroughs for download
http://www.kermitairgunclub.com/projects/ )
Anyways, I picked up some moly and tar (see All About Lubricants on Kermit website) and went at it with sandpaper and my dremel.
Reassembled my baby and turns out I couldn't shoot her for crap >.< took me almost a week to develop a hold that she liked (turns out she likes it tight). Thinking maybe I didn't put enough tar

but anyways I am shooting less than 1" groups at 25 feet now with iron sights (an accomplishment for my first rifle). Probably gonna tear her down again and try a little more tar when I have some time.
Am looking at scoping her with a leapers 3-9X32 with the leapers offset single piece scope mount, and was wondering if anyone had any experience with one of these (the mount).
Once again thanks all for all the info I found on this site and others like it, it has made my entry into air rifles a blast!
