Filled S1k Hollow Stock
« on: January 27, 2007, 03:20:36 AM »
Well, followed Genes' advice and went to a local home decorating store and found a supply of memory foam in large bags already cut into small pieces.  Took the stuff home and proceeded to fill the hollow areas of the stocks on my 4 S1K's ,,,,,, you were right Gene,,,,, had a very positive effect.  Later today gonna fill the stock on my CFX and will be doing the same on a friends S1K.

I'd like to fill the stock on my Winchester 1000 but I can't see any way to get the butt plate off.  Don't see any screws or any other hardward holding it on.  Anybody have any suggestions?  Thanks.

I think it may be glued on, but really not sure.  I'll keep trying to figure out a way.  As for the bandsaw Dano,,,,,,,,I'm sure that would work,,,, but I think I'll pass. :)

I like the memory foam in my airrifles, I can add or remove as needed. Ed
