It seems to be typical for me that when I scope a springer, I'm lucky if I can get any kind of group at all out of it.I can hold the same sight picture as my previous shot,squeeze the trigger the same, and the stinkin pellet lands four inches from the last at ten yards.My Crosman 1077 is really shooting some better groups now that I've been able to try it in warmer weather. My Remington Airmaster 77 is as consistent as the day is long. I'm going to do some more shooting with my second B3 using the open sights, and if I can get groups like I already got the first time I shot it, and hopefully a little bit better, I may just not scope the darn thing at all.My crappy 55 year old eyesight is a big problem. I wear hard contacts for distance, and then have to wear reading glasses for up close.It all plays hell with trying to use open sights.
