Beeman RS-1
« on: May 26, 2009, 07:18:44 AM »
Is there a new piston seal for a Beeman RS-1.  I got some gun oil in the barrel of mine the other day ( on accident) and It starting detonating like crazy and now it has crap for velocity and the more I shoot it the slower it shoots.  While it was detonating it sounded like a .22 indoors and it was driving 7.9 grain pellets through a 2X4 , fun while it lasted but hopefully not ruined.

I just inquired Compasseco  and they carry piston seals & parts for TF 89 which is same power plant with my RS series Beeman, AR1000 & the Hammerli Titan.

I called Compasseco also about RS 1 seals. The technician told me they are not the same as the TF.
You need to know the thickness, hardness and type of material I was told.
I wound up ordering it through Beeman. $6 including shipping. Does your seal look like this?
