....here please. Greats scores last week....a few members were getting close to the PERFECT score. Lets improve on that.....

Top notch shooting you did gapmaster! You aught to be proud of that target, i would be. i'm not familiar with that Rifle, i'll have to go look it up, but it's definatly a keeper. It's raining today, and i don't get off work til this weekend, so i can shoot and hopefully post a worthy target!

My first attempt in this match.



Thurs. : Shot 120 pellets (5 brands/types) trying to get a decent group....the best were the Crosman Premier Hollow Pt and Crosman Hunt (dome) with my Gamo Big Cat....but they only gave me a shotgun pattern of 2 1/2 to 3". Tried two target sheets....and the best score was a 71.



Fri. : Shot 30 Crosman Premier Hollow Pt thru my Gamo Viper....and the groups were 1 1/2 to 2". Better than the BC....so tried 2 target sheets...one ended up with 93 pts and this one with 103 pts.



I will open them up this week and apply some heavy tar to their springs.....hopefully it'll tame them down abit. They both can get10 shots into a same hole (7mm)at 8 meters distances.



Rifle: Gamo Viper, Sights: Gamo 3X9-40mm set at 9X, Pellet: .177 Crosman Premier Hollow Pt, Distance: 30 Yards,



Position: Tripod Rested, Temp: +24C, Sun, No wind, SCORE: 103/200

Back again this week, adjusted the rekord trigger down to 20 oz., wind was gusting up to 25 i shot a target and scored a 192. the wind layed down later so i tried again getting a 194, same i scored last week. guess the lighter trigger didn't help me, but felt good and crisp.
I guess this is just as good as i can shoot. Installed the Maccari Hornet spring kit and lubes a couple weeks ago in the R9, it's shooting the 8.4 JSBs at 810fps avg. lost about 50 fps. from stock but i don't care, it's smooth!
hopefully here is some pics of my setup, the targets on the 4x4s are at 35 yards, and 50 yards.
