Guys,
I'd like to get a copy of this book, but it is obviously out of print and copies are going for big $. This seems to be the seminal work on airgun theory and experiments, and without relatively easy (affordable) access, many guys are stopped, slowed down, or discouraged. This seems to hurt the hobby/industry as a whole, in my opinion.
So, am I missing something, or is this a problem? Is there anything we can do? Encourage another printing? Is it still within copyright or is it in the public domain now - which would seem to allow copying and re-distribution? If that were legal, I would be happy to scan a borrowed copy and make the pdf file available, or provide bound copies for a nominal fee.
Thoughts on this are much appreciated. I just don't think it is right to have to pay $100-$300 for a hobby book that contains essential and required knowledge, and think it is important to (legally) reduce the cost of entry to this knowledge.
