Chairgun Pro question on windage
« on: June 11, 2009, 05:50:09 PM »

i downloaded chairgun pro and i got a question on windage.  ok let say you had a perfect crosswind would that be a 90 degree angle? im getting conflicting numbers from chairgun2 and pro version.

If you dont have this you do yourself a favor and download it. Takes all the guess work out of POI and mil dot estimating. such a nice tool and the graph is perfect for a printout to tape on your rifle.

If you will right- click at that small black square on the left side of the "Wind Angle" value  (you will find this feature at the top right portion of the graph) you would see some additional options on how to set the wind angle. For example - Selecting "From 12 o'clock" option you would notice that the wind angle value is set at 180 degrees. Selecting the "From 9 o'clock" option would give you a wind angle value of -90 degrees.

Hope this helps.
