kayak fishing
« on: June 12, 2009, 02:35:24 PM »
Hey guys, I live in the area of Ocala, Fl. Any other kayak fishing enthusiasts on the board? Let me know, spent wednesday chasing reds and catching stingrays in Yankeetown. Looking for a partner to practice safe fishing, ie, not going out on the water alone. Thanks, John

Can't help you there. But I did get the chance to cruise around in my breaux's kayak and had a blast! Maybe Johnny Quest will chime in. He is a member of the kayak club down on the Texas coast. I'm scoping them out now for one for an old guy that don't like to tip over while in the water.

Oh, and by the way. I made it to Ocala a few years back to cook in one of those Big Green Egg gatherings. Nice place!

Yup,  I live in Tampa and go kayak fihsing as well, mostly red, trouts and snook.  I go up to Dunnellon on weekends for fishing and Waynes World in Ocala for paintball
