Congratulations Barry. I know Dano has a flair for beautiful wood..:) So do I but my budget doesn't,,,hehe. Here is my version. It is the full powered version with target stock.. I love it and it is a tack driver. Shooting tops off of dandelions at 30 is easy with this baby..:)

Have fun Barry.

Mine was deadly with R-10 Heavies last winter, Barry, that's a good choice for 10M work.  Tries several match pellets, those were the best, Daisy Avanti's were the worst.  I was surprised to see the one piece stock on yours, I thought you'd ordered a target model.  Mine is almost the same as Gene's, but my air tank has a quick fill instead of a gauge.  Might order a second tank from Champions Choice, I kind of like having a gauge, and at 15 fpe, my shot count isn't too great, plus it drops like a rock if I try to push it.

BTW, if you get frustrated with the Avanti rear diopter, check out the Air Force diopter.  All the precision of the high end match sights at well under half the price.  I still need to order the front sight, but the rear is tucked away, waiting for the winter's snow and cold temps.  Congrats!

Dave

Mine come with Diapto sights. I removed them and built a shroud for my barrel. Works very well.

You know what they say, "If you're only going to own one PCP...make it a good one!".

Mine shoots JSB Exact 4.50's the best so far, but I've never tried any wadcutters like the R-10's.  Mine has the quick fill like DaveD's, and came with the one piece stock like yours, but no open sights, just a tiny plastic muzzle cover thing, not even a brake really.  They are awesome little guns and I really enjoy mine, probably my favorite gun ever....can't think of anything else I'd trade it for 'cept maybe a Daystate Grand Prix...haha!!!  The triggers can use a little work out of the box, but adjust real well and break in nice after awhile, although I don't care for the plastic trigger shoe, but I already told you where to get a replacement for that:)  I replaced my barrel band as well with one with an o-ring to float the barrel a little, but I haven't seen any accuracy improvement with that so I think the plastic one works just fine.

I'm sure you'll get plenty of use from her during the Winter months, 10M shooting is what these guns were originally designed for.  She's a purdy one, enjoy!
