Greetings all,

I'm in the process of tuning up my QB-57. I got the B3 shooters kit, and am machining a delrin spring guide.
what tolerance should I machine the delrin spring guide, compared to the inside diameter of the new B3 spring?

any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks,

-Z

Should be a snug fit. Should not be easy to push guide into spring. Remember when the spring is collapsed it will open up.

Thanks Gene,

I'll make it snug, and try that.
Where can I get a main seal for it?
Also, do you see any problems with a brass spring guide?

Here is where I bought my spring, and seal for my QB-57 and B-3's.. It does not list a seal nor does it list QB-57 but this kit works. Do not use the binjo ditch oil. Throw it away or lube your kids bicycle chain with it..:)

Hi Gene,

I got that kit today in the mail (I ordered it last week).
The main seal that comes with it is not compatible with the QB-57. The QB uses the type that has a screw in the middle, and a little bushing in the middle of the seal..(a little indent that it goes into).  The main seal that comes with the kit is a press on type of seal, exactly like the seal on the S-2 Pistols.

Am I missing something here?

Also, for quite a while, the QF2 kit was on backorder at South Summit. Are they now in stock? Looks like they finally made their online shopping cart secure too.
