Got a house full of kids this weekend so I need to get these done early.

1st attempt at this one. Just stole a Remington Airmaster 77 (pumper) back from my father last night. Put ~ 20 shots through it to get some idea how bad the iron (plastic) sights were and get it somewhat close at 20yards.

Set the target up this morning at 26 yards and put 5 more shots into a pile of dirt to the right to "sight" it in.
And my proudest moment of this one was that all 20 shots hit the paper!!!!
This was fun, I'll shoot it when I can.

 (note that I did shoot at 26yards, that's the distance from just inside my basement slider to the nearest spot along the fence. I didn't feel like moving my stuff to gain 3 feets  or sitting/lying on the concrete outside the slider)

If I scored it right (red = 10, black sourround = 9, than down 1 for each ring outward) I acheived an 84/200. Did hit one bull though!

Heh heh, I've got a Rem Air Master 77 also.....but I only shoot BB's outta her with open sights for the Multi-Pump Rifle 10 Meters match.  Shots are usually all over the place.  Maybe one of this days I'll put a slightly defective Gamo scope on her and shoot pellets outta her just to see......

I shot the open rifle match with it a few minutes ago after dropping on the scope I used on my very first airgun almost 30 years ago. I was aiming for the white blur inside the black blur... :-0  It did much better than I expected.  But I now I know why my Dad didn't take to it. Getting pellets in there facing the right direction is a pain!  That target will go up later after I shoot the steroid match with it!

Going to rain the next 2 days and maybe on Sat. too.....so wanted to shoot 3 rifle matches in the early evening. The mosquitoes were making a buffet outta me!!!!!

This is the 2nd match of the evening after over 80 shots practicing and shooting another match (Was experimenting with 4 different pellets to see which grouped best). Ended up only doing two matches......got too late.

Sorry about last week's 5yd measurement snafu.  This week is a bonefide 25 yds, measured twice.  I'm just happy that this week's score is close to last week's. The rain's here now, it arrived 12 hours after my scope stop.  If I get another dry half hour this week I'll try to shoot a 30yd bench.  Got a Beeman Aperture on it's way too, so this will probably be the last of the "U" sight targets I shoot for a while.  Just for clarification, does the Beeman Ap count as an Open Sight?  I sure hope so.

Sweet & thanks!  I can't wait till Friday (when my peep arrives)... and then the next dry day.  We got the same weather pattern to deal with.

I gotta do it standing now... tried kneeling for about 40 shots and I killed my legs.  Could barely walk up and down stairs the past few days, but standing still was okie dokey.  Plus, I'm really liking the challenge.

Thought I'd give this one a try. I usually do better with my big old butt planted on the ground than I do standing anyway!  :D

Score: 123 with 1X - Don't know if the X's mean anything in this match or not.

Surprised the crap out of me that I could even hit something. Those targets looked like pencil dots at 25 yards. Blurry pencil dots at that!
By the way, 1/4" think eyeglass lenses don't count as optical sights do they???  :)

Andy, I can't help it.....that cheap little bb gun feels and look like a toy. It's got no respect from me!!!! My Gamo Expotec from 30 years ago feel and look more like a "Real" pellet gun. And they're both rated at <500fps. I need to put in a new spring (With a few extra coils) in the Expotec......to give her some punch.

Don't forget, it was a plastic Daisy 880 BB gun that put the hurt on all of us a few weeks ago in the multi-pump match!  :D

Tried my newly re-crowned B3 over my knee this week. D******** it's hot outside. Today it was 105 heat index.
