B26 takes another tree rat
« on: June 24, 2006, 02:02:41 AM »
This one I spotted going in and out of the neighbors house, so being that its a pest, it had to go.
B26 3 -- tree rats 0
I only have 20 yard ,  backyard, but the kritters seem to like it. But  this one, seemed different , very heavy .  This one was pregant.  I did a atopspsy on her to see how many pups she would have had.  Looked like I kept 4 more from eating electric wires is someones house.  sorry no pics.

Gene
that would work , but one person who might not like them can spoil  it for the rest.  having a hunting area would make sense, that way those who enter know what's gonna be there. if their offended , than its their faut for going there in the first place and they can only blame themself for going not the ones  posting the pics.

LOT OF ANTI HUNTERS OUT THERE ....

Yeah, but if we play by the rules, they can do nothing. You know.... small game season, pest control, not shooting your neighbor's cat ....etc.

Gene, why do not open another gate "Hunting air rifles" and put all pictures and useful info about hunting there?

I for one would appreciate  a hunting forum for a number of reasons.  I think it makes at least as much sense as having a QB or a Gamo gate as far as being a subject unto itself.  People that are hunting with air rifles have more in common with each other and it makes sense to concentrate this information in one Space than it does to spread it out over many forums. If you're lookinmg for hunting information it would be the one palce to go.  I think it would give this forum and advantage over other forums out there.

The other thing is that I know what a dead squirrle looks like. For some stupid reason I tend to look at these threads then sort of regret it. I am not anti hunting at all, I just hunt with a rimfire and there's just something sort of sad or something about looking at a picture of a dead squirrle on the internet.

Anyhow, my 2 cents.
