Man I can't believe nobody has posted any interest in this rifle. Mine has a Macarri spring installed,..but with the factory spring, I'm sure it's got a slight bit more power! If I had the funds I'd swipe it up just to compare them. I love my Xisico B-28A!!! $205 is a great price for this shooter folks! tjk

I'm not sure what you meant by this post.  Did you buy one from him that wasn't right?

I think that your post here is inappropriate and mean spirited. All air rifles are prone to problems, whether they are Chinese or German or American. People sometimes have the bad luck to get a problem gun. Then they have to worry about getting the gun replaced or repaired. It just happens sometimes. But from all the posts I have read, Mike has been more than willing to repair your gun and has on at least one occasion - now I read that he is going to replace the entire action. I have also read of the many B28 owners who gave very positive comments both about the gun and Mike's service. For you to post here to discourage others from buying from Mike is wrong and I think that you owe him an apology. But I doubt that it will ever come.

Moderators: I don't think that you should allow posts like his to appear in the classifieds. If you allow this kind of posting then the classifieds will dissolve into a cesspool of opinions and innuendos.  Terry

My comment was in no way a reflection of the awesome service I have received from Mike and it was NEVER meant to discourage others from buying his rifle. But if it was taken that way I am very sorry. It was just a comment hoping others have better luck than I have had. One thing is for sure...Mike does make things right. I just wish my luck and patience was as good as his service.

Most of the folks buying from Mike is trusting that he had QC the rifle with his tuning so I can understand the frustration of having to send it back again.  Just wondering most of these problems are due to shipping related or a case of something got slipped through.

Terry, somehow I felt that John wasn't going too far with his comments,...but we all know how mis-interpretation of typed words can be mis-construed for other meanings or intentions. With that said,...I preferred to wait a bit and see how things developed before I feel the need to intervene as a moderator. But I am glad you spoke up.   Rest assured, I keep my eyes and ears open when occurances do come up. John, I do feel bad for your "less than pleasent" experience with the B-28 , and like Terry did point out, sometimes you just get a troublesome rifle,...probably built on a Friday when the workers had their minds on the weekend!!!! LOL's Mike will make it right,...don't jump the ship just yet!!!! Thomas

I agree with Thomas some airguns despite a QC check and a great tune that Mike M provides just don't play well with others. :0 I had a shooter myself that I'd gone through from end to end but she wouldn't play nice until a further inspection found a tiny bur at the end of the barrel. :o  :0 She got a chop and crown and she spit's em straight and true now. :) Sometimes it's the little thing's and sometimes someone down at the assembly plant squeezed lemon juice on em. :0 Ed

I can personally vouch for Mike's service.  He provided me with an excellent B-25 tuned very nicely.  Is the quality of the Chinese manufacturing up to the same quality as the German Dianas and Weihrachs?  Of course not.  That's why you pay less than half the cost.  But Mike does do some magic on these Chinese springers and makes them respectable shooters.

First, I accept what John has said about how he feels about the service he has received form Mike. But the question remains of why he chose to post his negative remark under Mike's listing in the first place if not to affect the sell of the B28. My only concern is the posting of personal opinions about items listed in the classifieds. I feel that you have other forums that are more appropriate for posting about problems and feelings engendered. If you allow personal opinion to be posted concerning items for sale, then you risk the classifieds losing their function as a market place only. And it opens the door for inappropriate and frivolous comments. Case in point, someone offers a B25 for sale and another person posts that he or she would buy a B28 instead. Or as in John's case posts that his has problems or I post that I would never buy Chinese. What happens to the guy trying to sell the B25? The chances of him selling the B25 are affected if not nil. If the Classifieds are open to discussion then they will lose their appeal and we will all miss a great avenue for airgun commerce.  IMHO! Terry

I agree, the posts about other individuals issues with their B-28’s should be in a separate thread, not in responding to Mike’s classified add. I don’t want to sound like Mr. High and Mighty, but Mike posted a for sale add, not a thread open for discussion about the quality, longevity or issues with (or lack there of) with the BAM B-28.
Just my opinion.
You may or may not agree.

Regards
Nathan
