This one is for you Big Bill (sorry I didn't do better). Sorry for the misunderstanding and thanks for the motivation to expand my shooting to include springers.
131/200 (HUGE difference between back yard conditions and 'feild' conditions)
HW97 Centerpoint 6-24 @24x
Crosman Premier (domed) .22
Table/front rest (visible in pic)
For the record - I have been shooting the HW under 'basement' conditions out to about 25ish yards (my 30yrd angle has been off limits for a few days - neighbors that way have been outside for the first time in the 4 years we've lived here). My 'basement condition' scores at the distance have been MUCH better, in the mid 170's and a few better.
I'll skip the story I just typed in the PCP match thread but highlights are...
uneven grade for table and for chair, chair wayyyyy to low at the table and shot this through the weeds (there is a bit of a rise between the table and the target area. If it shows up in the scan you'll see the 'weed juice' on the target :-)
Quick shot of the 'range' (much work to come). This was taken while we were plinking off the table, after the matches had been shot. Dad is camera shy but standing just out of frame to the right holding the HW97. Target in pic is at about 32 yards.
