10% off Lowe's

Was out talking to the neighbors this morning, and one of them was discussing heading over to Lowe's.

The other asked if he wanted a 10% off coupon, and with a pretty large list of stuff needed, it was happily received.

We asked him where he got the coupon, and he told us that if you go to the post office and get a change of address kit, the 10% off coupon is included in the package.

Not sure this is true everywhere, but it is at several Dallas area PO's, and the coupon worked for my neighbor today...

Works with Home Depot, too. I forget the actual terms but I bought some large ticket item that way a few years back, legitimately.

You probably mean that the Lowe's coupon will be accepted at Home Depot.
My friend tried that this week - HD accepted the Lowe's coupon at the register without any question. I see no ethical issues with using a coupon issued in that fashion.
