Marauder #57 _ Perfect in Every Way......
« on: July 01, 2009, 11:14:28 AM »

One thing is for sure. I cannot out shoot my Marauder .177..:) It is deadly on 1/2" bulls eye's at 40 yards. I look back on many of the PCP's that I have bought and now down to just a few and my new Marauder .177. Without a doubt this gun is just as accurate as any of my best PCP shooters that cost way more. I think the Marauder is going to make the highway to new Dark Siders easier to enter..:) It is built to last many years and I am sure you will be seeing this new PCP winning some championships in the years to follow.

I never did put up my pictures when I made my review of my new Crosman Marauder but here they are. My Marauder Serial Number 57 in the raw,,:) I just love this shooter for it's consistency and accuracy.

She is equipped with a Simmons White Tail Classic 6.5-20X50 AO Mil Dot and a custom fit threaded plug made by Charlie for the power adjustment hole on back of receiver.

THE ONES I SLEEP WITH: BSA Lightning XL, AA TX-200, AA ProSport, BSA Ultra, HW-97K, Crosman NPSS .177, FX Cyclone, HW-30 Nicle Plated, AA-S200, Crosman Marauder, CZ-634, R-9 DG, Webley/Scott UK Tomahawk, Benji Kantana, Benji Marauder, Benji Discovery.....

Very Nice Gene !!

I think this is my next rifle. It seems like a fine rifle especially at that price.

That's a beauty Gene.  There are other PCPs in this price range now, but Crosman's got them beat IMO.

Gene....
Im in love.. LOL
Beautiful! exquisite! airgun buddy!
Instead of starting a new post Ill rather ask a marauders owner directly. I will really like a PCP and besides the expensive but beautifull AA s410 or the R5 or R6 which is also kind of expensive and loud!
I will certainly love a MARAUDER. so as an Owner can you give me some info on your rifle? like how many shots per fill before a drop in POI.
which pellets does it shot best?? where did you purchased it? that scope really looks nice are those high mounts? any disadvantages of having high mounts? how much does a scope like that costs?
have there been any issues with the rifle? I think I heard some users with problems on their new marauders.

sorry for the amount of questions. but those PICs sold me the Idea of a MARAUDER! for me its a pro that It can be filled with a pump! although its an extra expese but weel worth it.

Thanks Pedro... I bought this one directly from Crosman. It is one of the first 100 sold to the public through a lotery system. The scope is a Simmons White Tail Classic 6.5-16X50 AO MilDot. One of the clearest scopes I own. Midway often sells them for $125.00 on sale. Normally they are over $225.00. With the high comb it fits me perfect using the high mounts. But my head is very large an my eyes are 9" appart.. hehe  Once the scope is set there is very little adjustment. I use the MilDot to hold over out past 50 yards. Being a .177 I do not shoot much past that. I have the spring set for 900fps with Crosman Premiers. "lights".. I get around 60 shots per fill. I fill to 2700 psi and shoot down to about 1800 psi. It is as accurate as I can be..:)

Get yourself a 88cc tank 3000psi. If you fall in love and shoot allot you will appreciate having a tank around..:)

Good Luck
