FUSION BLACK!
« on: July 02, 2009, 02:01:46 PM »
I sighted in the The Fusion Black yesterday, knowing that I was hooking up with Jeff for a farm hunt today! :)  I had already installed my Bushnell so now I needed to sight it in. I set up a 23yard range out back set up a target & began the process,(I use CPs)first shot I aimed for the bullseye & it hit about eleven o'clock four inches off center,I took the same shot & aimed at the same bullseye & got the same result, now after two shots in almost the same spot I figured it's o.k. to start the adjustment, third shot was about inch off to the right of the bullseye & almost even up on the vertical, another slight adjustment & I was in my circle,I took a few more shots to get it just right & I was off to the races.I was liking what I was seeing as well as liking what I was feeling which was how well this gun shot out of the box,I thought not bad for a gun made in Spain, the funny thing was when Tanya asks me how the trigger felt,I thought she was mocking me at first but she wanted to know because her Hamerli has such a horrible trigger, she takes The Fusion & starts shooting, now I was really impressed, she did a real nice job & then looks at me & says, wow this is a easy trigger use,I just started laughing,what-else could I do... :p  After shooting for a while I knew that gun was for real, all I needed to know was what kind of numbers it was putting out,I figured in the upper 700fps to low 800fps. well today at Jeffs we put a CP in the gun & shot it over the chrony & when I saw 750fps I was happy, the next shot was 748.9 fps,me & Jeff looked at each other, smiled, then went & did our farm run!  Overall impression of the gun is super nice! :)

My take was about the same Joe Joe. The trigger is perfect and the overall cocking and shooting cycle was just fantastic. Thanks buddy. I want a .177 next..:)

Like I posted last time..........you guys are keeping this all a secret. Most of us know nothing about these guns, so why don't one of you tell us all about them. you know the drill. Where do we get them and how about a review of them. Who ever is importing them will not make any money if these guns are a close kept secret.....SO SPILL THE BEANS GUYS!!!!!!!!!!

This is the first time a cometa gun has been in the US since RWS and Pyramyd Air stopped importing them. The guns you see are new models this year. You can check out the guns at their website http://www.cometaairgun.com/. The guy who started this thread is the one importing these guns. Right now there are only 3 of them in the field. Airgun Cuz has one Jorge from the Bronx has one and Mr. Gene has the third. I hope to be the fourth today. Contact airguncuz @ http://www.longislandairguns.com or longislandairguns@yahoo.com and let him know what gun you want and in what cal. Cuz will be placing another order soon we need to work out some other details first before placing the next order.

i said the other day how joe said that these cometas r good he lied they r excellent no twang whats so ever the power ,the trigger ,and the brake helps alot its not as noisey as the whisper and gamo stares 50% loudness well this one is the read deal when it comes to the 50% reduction ,i have the 400 fenix star cabrine they r great shooters .and i have a shark .25 made in argentina those stop selling awhile ago and sunshine were the only ones selling them however the brazilian government bough them off so we r not going to see them anymore .the .25 shark is extremely hard hitting accurate ,bolt action ,muzzle brake and wood that will last forever accurate as can be at 700 fps ,lightweight which make it easy to aim without gettin tired ,im using a 20 oz bottleof co20 to fill her up 3 sec .joe has always sold me great shooters and i never had to complain ,he even brings it to my house how convinent ,

It appears that this gun is to be sold to only a given few.  The only pic of it is on this site.
Long island airguns keeps talking about them; BUT that is all.......
Are they for sell or just to look and talk about?
When will they be available for the general public?
Not mad... Just wondering.
By the way, what is the cost?
