That's what I thought too. These are the crosman wadcutters in the plastic tub that you can buy at Wally World for $3.99 per 500. NOT the best or most consistant pellet there is. I have some Crosman Premier HP's in the tin that tend to group a little better and I suspect are of a better quality, I just grabbed what I had on the bench and headed to the yard for a quick string over the chrony. This is a refurbed Hunter 220 from Natchez and I am pretty sure that other than a small scratch on the stock, this is a pretty much brand spankin new 220. Probably a customer return by some anal customer that just couldn't get over the 1/2" scratch...I might be a little more concerned if this wasn't such a good price deal on a refurb. I noticed the other day that Natchez refurb pricing on the 220 had gone up quite a bit, so this may have been the end of that...glad I got in when I did, I'm really happy with what I got. Now I have 4 guns here with less than 500 shots through each and maybe less than 700 shots through all four of them total...and I want to buy at least 2 more within the next couple months (B26 and an IZH46M). I just need to sell off a few, then I'll be "set". I had my two QB's out last night and my new 2260, I just sat there looking them over, admiring the engineering and wood...hehe, I should collect matchbox cars, it would be cheaper:)
Thanx for the input Vince!
