With a Timmy custom stock finished in a beautiful blonde finish and front and rear walnut tips. A Timmy custom barrel conversion which was cut down to an overall 16" from back of breech to the end of barrel. Re crowned to perfection. And with my complete turbo tune with JM GRT spring and Tesla seal.



Yes I managed to do some horse trading for the new Ruger Air Hawk custom stock that Timmy had been working on for a couple weeks now. When he stopped at my house last week he finished off the stock and we simply traded my unfinished Air Hawk stock for his..:) So now I have a beautiful Ruger Air Hawk that originally cost me $99.00 at my local sporting goods store. So for less than $200.00 I now also have a very predictable and very accurate shooter. Very low overall deviation of 18 fps. She chronied at an average of 920 fps with CP hollow points. Timmy did all the work except the tuning part and I really have to hand it to him. A very talented young man.



The scope is a new BSA Contender 4-12-40 AO Ballistic scope with side wheel AO and the turrets all lock down after adjusting. This scope has the most eye relief that I have seen in most other scopes. Very clear glass and easy to adjust.



Ernie shot this Air Hawk for4 hours yesterday with over a tin of CP Lights. He was shooting at the Gamo Targets from 40 yards back and was able to achieve 1/2" groups and no flyers. The overall cocking cycle is smooth and the firing cycle is quiet with a good stiff recoil.



The Ruger Air Hawk .177 for $99.00 is an exceptional buy even without the custom stock work. There is an incredible difference with overall shooting cycles and accuracy after a good tune. Also I spun a new muzzle brake to simulate the RWS 36 Pro. Made from 6061 aluminum solid rod and tubing.

He really did a nice job on that stock. I am almost tempted to see what is under my finish. I agree, they are a great gun for the money and respond well with minimal work. And now you can get the B-25 in .22, for half the price of a 34 they are a exceptional  entry level gun.

All kidding aside, you guys did some nice work on that one, I may just have to add an Airhawk to my collection sometime soon.

Very nice timmy see when you look under the old finish you will find a nice blond stock I have yet to find any other color wood with the exception of the walnut Winchester 1000 air rifle I had . howie

Bryan, no that BSA is not rated for air guns. Just put it on for show. I did put it on my HW-30 though. Hardly any recoile on it.
