Gamo 440 twang
« on: July 13, 2009, 10:52:31 PM »
Hi, folks,

I got out my gamo 440 yesterday for some plinking in the backyard; I love this little rifle, but the spring twang is crazy.

Can you guys give me a quick link or a rundown of what I need lube-wise to knock the twang back a little?  All I have on hand at the moment is some Moly-paste (and I doubt that is what should go on the spring, no?)

Thanks,
-JC

Use the heavy tar on the spring.
