Had a yen for one of these myself, so did a bunch of research. This is all hearsay, I have no personal experience. First, it's heavy, around 8 lbs. or so. Where the Talon is aluminum, the S16 is steel. Also, the earlier ones had lots of seal problems, and they're NOT easy to work on. As I understand it, that improved a lot with the later models. Ergonomics is better than the Talon/Condor, I seem to recall some complaints about the trigger, but don't remember any details. Not a lot of them around, so getting service could be an issue. All that aside, you don't see them come up for sale that often, so the people that have them tend to hang onto them. I seem to recall some cocking/loading issues as well, but again, much improved in the later models. I'd say go for it, but unless you want a rifle guaranteed to leak, stay away from the early models. Never heard any complaints about power, consistency, or accuracy, and the fully shrouded models are supposed to be VERY quiet. Hope that helps.
