It sure seems like every time I visit Me "Papa Bear",,, I come home with MORE than I left with!!
This visit was no differant. I have come home with: Scuba Tanks,,,,, Completely new/ tuned guns,,,,Scopes,,, Mounts,,, Custom tunes,, GRT Triggers,,, Muzzle breaks/Shrouds,,,Even came home this time to a brand new Marauder in the box on my pool table!!
On my last visit to me "Papa Bear" I was hangin out in the shop with him working on various projects. I was trying to stay out of his way as much as posible & helping him when I could. We had a BLAST!!!!!!
I had brought in a shooting bench he had & was using it as my own little work center tryin to focus on my own lil projects.
Gene noticed that I REALLY liked the lil bench & had it all set up to hold my guns & tools while I "Pretended" to be a tuner!!
Gene says,,,, You like that bench?? I says: Heck Ya,,, it,s way cool!! Gene says: I gots another one just like it you can have!!!!! I went right out & got it out of the other shop & put it right out in the middle of the yard where he could see it over the next few days I was there to see if he changed his mind!! He never said another word,,, so,, when I left,,,,,, I QUIETLY threw that sucker into the back of my truck & hauled butt!!! I finally got around to putting the "Remodel" on it today,,,,, it is one SWEET shooting bench now!! The curve cut in the front is just perfect to lean into with your chest & be TOTALLY comfortable!! THANKS GENE!!!!!
