What the bugs see

We were away a few weeks back for 4 days and thought I would share. I am proud of my kids and there marksmanship after shooting at air rifle dartboard , steel targets and full mountain dew cans for awhile they discovered that this with the hot sun attracted insects  they diverted to nailing bugs, bumblebees and wasps and hitting them with alarming frequency ! If the bug landed/paused that was it:) Excellent training I thought, so I tried it also ...and will say its not that easy, of course I told the kids I was leaving all the easy one for them LOL. I've been doing the same thing all morning!  The Cicada's have been landing on the wood backstop that I use when shooting in the front yard so when they've landed I've been chopping em' in half!  The bugs are a FINE tool for improving shooting technique...   and they sometimes act as moving targets!
