Anyone else have this problem?
« on: July 27, 2009, 02:31:47 PM »
I just got a one piece mount. Its from Xisco http://bestairgun.stores.yahoo.net/onepiscmostp.html The specs say it will fit any rifle they sell. I tried it on a B-26 and a B-40. On both rifles the mount cants off to the right or reversed it cants to the left  but then you loose the use of the stop pin. I also tired it on a Gamo. Same results. The removable bar on the clamp isn't designed to be turned over. Anybody have a thought on how to fix this? I do have a powder burner that the scope mounts off the center line. Maybe it doesn't matter?

Buy a good mount.. An Accushot/Leapers mount is $17.00 and I have never seen one that was bad. Also the bottom clamp can be reversed. Scope and mount really makes a difference how accurate you can shoot. Don't skimp on the mount.

make sure the stop pin is retracted before mounting, line the hole in the reciever up, tighten the side clamp then run the stop pin down until it just touches the bottom of the hole...could solve the problem. I have a few of those mounts on hand and have not had any problem when correctly mounted...if it still leans please send it to me, I'd like to check it out....
