At best Joe gave me horrible customer service and was deceptive with his return policy. At worst he has ripped me off...I'm not sure yet.
I bought a new talon ss and a used shroud from him. I was thinking of getting a Talon Tunes shroud, but wanted to test his as it might be good enough for
my neighborhood use. I asked him (before purchase) if I could "try it out" and return it if it was not as quiet as I needed. He said " sure, minus the shipping charge"
When I returned it 13 days later he stated I had only 3 days to test it out and return it. WHAT??? Every other online business I know has a 30 day return policy.
Joe said the gun sale was through his business, but the shroud was a "personal sell". UM...OK... so how can you just set a return time after there was never one agreed to.
Then he said 6 days would have been o.k. If 6 why not 8 or 12 or 14??? BTW I contacted him the next day after I got it to let him know I was going to return it. I still wanted to do a thorough test, then got busy and had to push the return back.
During all our e-mails he was rude and dismissive. Not obnoxious, but pretty bad for someone with a business. I repeatedly tried to find a solution to this issue, even
apologizing for any misunderstanding and offering to take less money since he thought that I did him wrong in some way.
Instead of being a stand up guy and working with me he told me he never received the shroud back , I had to go to UPS and run a tracer (they said he has it) and I have not heard from him in a week or so.
Deceptive in his return policy or lack there of and in lying about receiving the package.
Horrible customer service in being rude, and not even trying to help a customer resolve an issue.
I know a lot of guys like him, but they said the same thing about Don G on the Talon Forum until he screwed some people over.
