After much delibaration ? "GTR trigger"
« on: August 02, 2009, 08:24:38 PM »
I selected the .177 kral for the GTR trigger....
The dam thing almost installed itself...
getting the rear stock bolt undone was the hardest
part of the whole job...think I need to change the
type of locktite I use....

then off for a few shots...
the first one was a total misfire . 2nd was not much better
yer realy have to use the saftey with these...
buy the 10/12th shot I was getting use to the light trigger pull "almost"

I'm woundering if its just a wee bit to light & short.....
Better go read Charlie's adjustment section....

HOW should it feel ????????

One things for shaw it won't be the last one I get.........

Pete:

Just download CDT's adjustment file and also get the troubleshooting guide as well (probably won't need it but...). I was fooled the first time as well with my Whisper. Practice a lot!

Funny Kiwi,

I did the same thing with my GTR trigger also, shot way to soon.
As a precaution, on first instillation and test of the GTR,
make sure you are loaded (The Rifle that is) and the rifle is pointing in a safe
direction. Don't touch that trigger until your ready to shoot.
These puppy's are light and crisp. Amazing.

I purchased one of the gold triggers for a crosman storm xt. I debated giving the gun to my nephew and did not install the trigger. A few months down the road I installed the trigger and I was mad at myself for waiting so long to install it. If a gun I'm looking at does not have a 2 stage adjustable trigger or a CDT trigger won't fit I won't buy.

One of my friends just bought himself a Crosman G1 Extreme....the gun shoots similar to my Crosmans and Gamos. Only difference is I have the GRT III trigger in all of mines. Boy, what a difference.....the GRT III trigger is light, smooth and crisp....while his original trigger feels like a 12lb pull!!!!! I had forgotten how bad they were.....
