Well it happened and it wasn't my fault.
« on: August 03, 2009, 08:30:47 AM »

I was peekin' over the fence looking at the guys with their PCP's at Gene's last week. All of a sudden, some hands grabbed me by the shoulders and yanked me over the fence. :o I struggled to get back to my feet and back over the fence but to no avail cuz Timmy,Tommy and Dave were all holding me down. I looked up at "J" and Ernie for some help but they just stood there with this crazed look in their eyesand scary look on their faces.

Sherrie had her back turned cuz she couldn't bear to watch I guess. Gene was holding his cane up in a threatening manner.

I was coersed, badgered, threatened and intimidated. :0 It was hell. They even made me shoot their guns. :) No choice...had to submit. Under extreme duress, today I ordered a .22 cal Marauder and all associated/needed parts and accessories. Never thought I would see the day that I would own a PCP and it's all because of them. 8)

All of this happened after the retirement presentations that were made. I was to told to tell no one of the incident under threat of bodily harm that but I feel the truth should be known. I capitulated because I was extremely concerned about my safety. I'm innocent.....really 8)

I now have a total and complete understanding of "THE DARK SIDE"

A word of caution here...beware of who your friends are...... you could be next.

Damn it...the shipment will be delayed a week or so from PA....back ordered :0

Bob, a big welcome to the DARK SIDE.  I'm sure you'll go back to the springers after you get bored of stacking pellets out to 80+ yards with your Marauder.  heh heh

I new those guys were gonna gang up on you but did not expect you to blow the whistle so soon..:) By the time your new Marauder gets in you will have everything you need to shoot her in the back yard. I wanna give ya one big darkside dittos, and welcome to the realm.

You tuned a springer for me less than a year ago.
Now I am the proud owner of not one, but three
PCP rifles, Marauder being one of them.
I don't know how to ever thank you for that
or  if I can ever spring back to the light.

Great to have ya aboard. However, I do hope that they
didn't rough you up to much. Gene surprised me on this one.
Allowing the tutor and mentor to be harassed and man handled
in such a manner is  unbecoming of Genes fine reputation.

Good job Gene, you got the job done.
I guess a tuna is never to old to learn new tricks.

LOL...You paint a great picture Bob. I must be weak 'cause I resisted for only a month after CFX Marauder forced me to shoot his B51 and Talon. Then with all the hype about the Marauder I broke down and got one....

Congrat's Bob and you gotta watch those DARK SIDERS they'll make you one of them before you know what happened hehe. I'm proud to say that I'm still compressing spring's to get my pellet down the lane and the joy of doing it is still as strong as it was the first time I picked up a springer.:) It is nice not have to cock the shooter, just fill, load and shoot. We'll be looking for pic's from you brother Bob and I'll keep the springer fire burning for you hehe. :) Ed

Good luck, Bob. That's the one that pushed me over the edge, too, after sayin' "never!".

Then I was justat the range next to one o' them Korean bang sticks... and now Sam Yang is in my dreams...

But I still love my springers and they aren't going anywhere. You can't beat the simple joys in life. They all have their place.

Congratulations Bob . Sometimes , we do what we have to do . You'll enjoy it I sure . I've been drawn in a couple of times and manage to crawl away . LOL This last time I kept a couple of PCP's , so I don't have to go far when I feel the urge . kirby  :D
