The really nice Tom Turkey is @ about 170 yrds.:o :0 :0 :0 The turkeys are there every day all day long eating corn!!:p 8) Sure wish I knew someone that I could borrow a nice MOA CZ 17 cal. for a day!!:p :D 8) LOL!! Those darn turkeys are eating all the corn I am putting out for the deer (Leagle here),,, dont that make them "Pests"?????:p 8) Im looking for a 17 cal. powder burner now!!8) Tim.

Nice.  Say, is it legal to hunt turkey with a .223?  A 200 yard sniper head shot might eliminate the need for whole body camo and skill with a turkey call.  Maybe I can get down that way and pop a few caps with you sometime soon. . .

Tommy I'm not sure...I have a Bushy Banner sittin around doing nothing for the time being. I thought about the scope off my Marauder might work. It's aLeapers Accushot 4-16 x 56 model SCP3-P416AOMDL would be pretty wicked. What do you suggest?

I would suggest that:,,,, you send that shooter to me to really test her out at long range!!:p No need to worry about sending a scope,,, I will try the 4-16X56 off of my Marauder on her!!8) Tommy,,,, you know you & the Mrs. are also welcome here any time.8) I bet Yer Lil CZ could take them "Pests" out to 200 yards with body shots with plenty left to eat!!:o :p 8) ( I have seen your shooting,,,,,,, Done Deal!!) 8) Timbo.

.17 paper holes are tough to see at 100 yards.  I went with a Bushnell Trophy 6-18X 40MM AO, and it does a good job.  I should think you want 18 - 20X with good, clear glass.  Depending on budget, Bushnell Trophy or Legend, Nikon, & Sightron come to mind.  The Trophy was a budget-minded choice.

I'll bet that Savage could do it too..................(Timmy has been indoctrinated by Tommy. He thinks every magnum rimfire is a CZ.)

Hey Peak!  Georgia Arms just confirmed shipment of 1000 rounds of Hornady V-Max .223 55gr ballistic tips.  Next project is sub-MOA with the CZ-527 Varmint at 100 and 200 yards.  I should be good to go for another couple of weeks!  I hear good things about the Savage, but on the other hand, I have been delighted with the other CZ's I own, so why change?  I think there may be a CZ-452 American in .22LR in my not too distant future as well.  After shooting the CZ's, my Browning A-Bolt in .22LR won't keep up, even with Wolf Match Target at 50 yards.  Can't get consistent sub-1-inch groups  Guess I could look at a new barrel for the Browning . . . no . . .   definitely a CZ-452 American in .22LR.  That's the ticket!

Have you learned any Czech yet Tommy?  LOL!

I have a CZ 452 ZKM in .22lr and it is a very well made, great shooting rifle.

My Savage 93 in .17 HRM is another fine rifle. The Savage Accutrigger is wonderful. right out of the box.

I had one but traded it for a Dragon Slayer.
It kills the Squirrel just as well, LOL.

Don't forget the Air Arms S200 is actually a CZ in Brittish clothing, and you all know how I feel about my S200:)  I'm not a powder burner sort  of guy, with the exception of "wanting" to get a shotgun here pretty soon, but if I were the CZ452 in .22 would be my shortlist powder burner.  I was actually out last weekend looking at powder burners as well as gun safes, but somehow now at the end of the week I've got two new springers in route....and I'm a PCP kind of guy....haha!!!
