I think the QB-58 is a retooling of the QB-88 sidelever powerplant, and obviously with a new stock.
I certainly hope so, anyway, those ( the -88's) were great little rifles.

Compasseco has them for sale:

I bought one case for resale, the finish on the metal is rough and they need some TLC to shoot well...not bad for the price if they are still the same as when I got them...

I have one. Needs new valve seals. Not sure whether I'm going to keep it or sell it.

Hi:

I just got one from Compasseco.  It was on sale, but probably still overpriced.  It is the same as the QB-88 with, in my opinion, a very nice stock.  It's a real step up in looks from the QB-88.  The checkering is realy quite good, better than on a Gamo 440.  It also has an automatic safety.  I'm not crazy about automatic safeties in general,  but i guess on a side lever it may provide that little bit of extra finger protection. It has fibre optic sights and a somewhat Star Wars muzzle brake.  Would prefer plain but not a deal breaker.

It's got to be the least expensive rifle on the market with a decent checkered stock.  It's a real nice looking gun and mine is as accurate as my QB-88.  I added a %%*^(()*)%$*% trigger insert, followed his instructions to the letter, and it produced a wonderful trigger. Definately a keeper.  I now see that the tuna trigger will also fit as long as you let Charlie know that it's a Chinese Gamo clone,  he will provide a different pin to fit.

Was originally looking at their TF-97 with the newer checkered stock.  Called several times and they were out of stock.  Seems like they have arrived but they are no longer on sale.  Go fugure.  I was assured by a CSR that  the price would be the same when they got them.   I'll just have to wait for another sale I guess.

Cheers,
Fatman

Oops.
Sorry, didn't know that there was an issue with that individual.  I'm not a Troll, that post was only intended to be informational.

I'd like to have the TF58. I have a QB57 and a Fast Deer. I really like the Fast Deer, but mine seems to like the larger diameter pellets best. Meaning, Beeman and other expensive pellets. I thought about sleeving the barrel with a Crosman 2100 barrel liner. Dunno.

How's the TF58 shoot? What's the build quality of the rifle itself like? Been kinda kicking around the idea of getting one.

I have TF41 sidelever. Looks like they aren't making them anymore. It's a nice gun, but the stock is kinda weird. May have to do something about that. Anyway the sidelever concept is pretty cool to me. Almost (almost) like throwing the bolt on a bolt-action rifle.
