in the past month i've had the undeniable pleasure and priveledge of horsetrading with two of GTA's finest; Ed aka Shadow, and Tim aka Timmyj1959.
Despite never having met me in person, both of these gentleman went above and beyond to insure that a gentlemans handshake deal was completed through good ol american bartering.
Tim knowing that i had started my better half Heather into shooting, stepped up witha beautifull 2250 that fits Heather to a t ! Heather has MD, and a fullsize rifle just wasnt an option. I personally feel that the time and craftsmanship that Tim put into this 2250 far outweighs the value of the pumper that he recieved in turn.
Ed, saw that my youngest son Ryan aka shooterboy was ready for a full size rifle. Ed, took his own winchester 800 off the rack and sight unseen, swapped it for the lil B16 that Ryan had quickly outgrown.
Eds 800 has a definitive hunting history and as such is one that Ryan will aspire to uphold......
My hat is off to both of these gentleman. To all of you who read this post, know that their attitudes toward new shooters, love of the sport and old school trading values make them far more than aquaintences in my book,.....as i was raised, this makes them family,........and welcome in my home at anytime...!!
